Northern Quarter Strings are a contemporary string ensemble of all male musicians who provide the perfect accompaniment to any event.  Individually, they have performed with many of the major UK orchestras, such as the BBC Philharmonic, the Manchester Camerata, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Arts Symphonic and Sinfonia Viva.

Notable artists that they have worked with include George Michael, One Direction, Kate Rusby, Russell Watson, Jacqui Dankworth and Donald Grant.  The boys have appeared on BBC’s Downton Abbey, ITV’s X Factor,  the ‘YES‘ commercial for Lucozade, and the BAFTA award winning series The Choir.

They have performed in Buckingham Palace, St James’ Palace, the Royal Albert Hall, the Royal Festival Hall, Cadogan Hall, Purcell Room, St John Smith’s Square, Birmingham Symphony Hall, the Bridgewater Hall and the Savoy Hotel.  Commercially playing and recording at Air Studios,  Wembley arena, the MEN arena, Earls Court and even as far away as the Allphones Arena in Sydney.

The sheer breadth of their background and experience gives their performances true style, panache and verve.  Together NQStrings are flexible enough to perform in varying sizes, offering the option of duo, trio or as the most popular, a quartet.

Whatever suits the mood and the occasion, NQStrings are sure to add a whole new dimension to your event.
